Our Matcha

Matcha for Everyday Life

At JAPANESE MATCHA STAND, we believe great matcha should be part of your daily ritual, not just a special occasion. Every leaf we offer is grown, harvested, and stone-ground in Japan by farmers we work with directly.

Four Regions, One Standard of Quality

Uji (Kyoto) — the birthplace of Japanese tea ceremony, known for deep umami and vivid color.

Kakegawa (Shizuoka) — rich volcanic soil that produces bold, full-bodied matcha.

Yame (Fukuoka) — misty highlands that yield smooth, naturally sweet leaves.

Kagoshima — sun-rich fields producing vibrant, everyday-grade matcha.

Our Grades

Ceremonial Grade — the finest young leaves, stone-ground for whisking straight with water. Smooth, vibrant, and naturally sweet.

Premium Grade — a versatile grade suited for both traditional preparation and lattes.

Culinary Grade — a robust, full-flavored matcha built to stand up to milk, baking, and blending.

From Farm to Cup

Freshly harvested leaves are steamed, dried, de-veined, and stone-ground into a fine powder — preserving the color, aroma, and nutrients that define authentic Japanese matcha. We test every batch before it reaches you.
